Battleships: Warzone

Description

  • There are two teams, one is controlled by a person(you), the other by a computer,

  • Each team has income received from oil towers, with these resources you can buy combat units(ships, tanks)

  • Using these units, you must defeat the enemy by destroying all his buildings or oil rigs. Destroying one of the buildings can deprive the enemy of creating units or mining resources. 

  • You can use the left mouse button to select a unit, and the right mouse button to select a new location.

  • Use “wasd” to move the camera

  • The game has restrictions, you can not build more than 3 ships, the plane in search of the enemy, flies around a certain territory, and the distance of the shot of a large cannon is located on your half of the map.

Contribution

  • Use unreal blueprint and C++ programmed all the units as game actors. Designed and developed all battleships, tanks and airplanes’ functionalities. 

  • Design the in-game economics, like how much a battleship should cost, how much income that the oil tower can generate every minute.

  • Design the level details, like the initial buildings’ layout, the landscape, etc.

  • Designed and developed a basic AI
