Introduction

Idea
    The Mausoleum Escape is an educational game, which aims to provide players pleasure in learning math, give them insights about those famous math problems in the math history, let them be able to think like a mathematician’s way and capable of math modeling and applying math into real life problems.


Narrative
    At the beginning of the game, the player is in an adventure team which is exploring an ancient tomb. But suddenly a wall collapsed and separated the player and his friend. 
Player entered a mysterious lobby which was full of puzzles. The lobby has different rooms and each represents a different math problem in history. If a player successfully deals one, he gets scores and a key. Each room will cost the player a key. If Player can solve all the puzzles, he will find a way to freedom.


Game mechanic
    Players have 3 keys and 0 tokens at the beginning. Entering every room will cost a key and each time you solve a puzzle, you will win a key and some tokens. Also in the game scene, there will be collectable items, including notes and maps, they will bring you tokens too. You can buy a key in the center room using your tokens.
    In the 7 bridges room, the whole game scene is a simulation of the real situation. You will find 2 islands and 7 bridges. Each time when you cross a bridge, the candles nearby will lighted. However if you cross it again, the light will go out. At the beginning of this puzzle, you need to light all the bridges. But as you may know, the 7 bridges problem actually has no answer in history. So you will find several hints in the game scene. After you talked with a Game Character in the scene, a hidden bridge will show up and player can pass the level.
