Overview

    The Town of Dusk is a 1st-person shooter game. Player is a father who travelled a mysterious town with his daughter, Emily. However unknown danger approached them and you have to save Emily.

Introduction

    Town of dusk is my personal work. It is a First person shooting game. I used unity3d to build the scene and framework of the game, used Photoshop to decorate the scene, downloaded free models from unity asset store and wrote C# scripts to let the game run.

   The story happens in a small town. A young father Jack lost his deer daughter Emily in this horrible Poland town. And he is anxious to find her. In fact, this horrible town was a Nazi Laboratory used to research biological weapon (that explains why there are so many horrible zombies in this town). In 1943, a Jewish father and his son Adam were caught by German army. The Jewish father managed to escape from German soldiers’ control and tried everything to save his boy. Yet unfortunately he failed. After over 70 years, the same misfortune happened on Jack and his Emily. The young father saved his daughter and did not let the tragedy happen again.

   At the beginning of the game, you will find yourself surrounding by big houses. You have two guns, and there are many zombies in this town. First, zombies will only wandering around, however if they find you, they will start to chase you and attack you. You must protect yourself with your guns. When you found two torches, there is a hidden door in front of you. Get close to the hidden door you will find the inner room, where Emily is trapped in.

Statement of purpose

    The Town of Dusk is my first Unity3d Game Project. The original idea is just to build a horror adventure game. But I still add some thoughts about humanity and history to make it more deep and serious.

  • Create a 3d shooter game for entertaining purpose

  • Create a background story to let player explore
